If I was a baker, baking cakes, and wanted you to give me your opinions on the cake I was baking, would I give you some cake, or some cake mixture?
Or more to the point, would I give you some cake mixture which was missing a rather important ingredient, and when you said "Eww, that's disgusting," ignore the issue by explaining how I would be adding the missing ingredient later, and that the cake mixture would eventually taste quite nice indeed?
It's just not logical dammit. Cake.
