hey lance,
1) The pill bug eggs are behind the goblin scientist door
2) steal the key from his shelf first then go kill the pill bugs. go tell him what has happened and he will leave allowing you to enter through the door.
3) there is no fireball magic here,however when you get the lighter from the mad-chess you can even burn down trees.
