I don't think its worth to continue playing this D-Mod because it sucks and there isn't much left to see. If you really want to beat him just cheat. If you don't want to do that I suggest you kill some monsters and find some secrets if you haven't already. (secrets you might have missed: when you enter the arena and you go left between the trees. There's a staircase hidden behind a log and some grass in the upper left corner of the screen. In a cave in the hills there's a part where you can walk to the left. There you'll find a tough stone giant and quite some treasure.) I managed to kill Jackson easily with the light sword once I collected all the treasure and killed some things.
