from a fountain which is guarded by the boss.

If you are in dink's hometown,
Go west( or southwest or northwest),there you will find a bridge
cross it,go straight
enter a teleport
now u will enter a land where there are 5 teleports
the first one is the first one(cheese one)
to it's right,there are 3,all on one screen
explore them
further right there is a teleport that takes u to
dink's hometown
Do u mean king's room in the castle by 'throne room'?
In the room where the king sits,there is no secret area
In the place/room in the castle where the guard stands,hit the wall to the right,u will find a secret room
