Hi Carrie, Sorry to hear that you have lost all your your work. As a wannabe musician, I am protective of my work. I have lost some 'impossible to recapture" moments from e.g. leaving my cassette on the desk and degaussing my monitor.
Could you tell me what crashed on your computer, from a users point of view? I have had 2 of my clients recently say their hard-drives have slowly crashed over the last couple of weeks. They both compared it to starting a dying motorcycle, sometimes it would boot on the first or second go, then gradually became 4 or 5 failed bootups.
I have a weird fetish for documenting things and looking for patterns.
