Okay, I played around in my D-Mod, and the graphical glitches are gone. 
However, I liked the previous fading in/out much better. It gave a nice touch (it was slower). Maybe put in an option that you can choose? Or just change it back 
I really dislike this one, it's just as bad as the old one, imo.
