That's an easily solvable problem. Unhook your power button and reset button and install a new "stealth" switch in one of your drive bays. If you are feeling *really* tricky you can rig up your cd-rom drive with another button (Or if you have one of those useless stop/play buttons) and connect that to the port.
If that's too much work, grab an IR led receiver and have the computer turn on when a specific frequency is received (yes, it's possible). Most likely you should adhere to the ones on your television remote control. Just point it to the computer and press power and voila! - computer on.
