If you don't have an account, just leave the password field blank.
From my experience, it is MUCH easier to make a d-mod with somebody who is local to you. When I have attempted to make a d-mod with a dinker across the internet, it has alwaays failed, yet Arik and I have made a lot of progress on CC2 (after finishing the original).
But if you want somebody to "sort of" work with, I've got many small projects that could do with somebody continuing them! Send me a message if you are interested.
