Agility is there for a few things:
Throwing the stars quickly
Being able to walk across certain slippery paths
And finally being able to row quickly on the red seas
the ability to throw quickly offsets the lesser strength of the stars, and throwing stars in the red rivers is the best weapon to fight the water demons - this is end world stuff that you may not have arrived at if you get stuck in that conversation thingy that I will take a look at.
Looking back, adding three new stats or abilities was a bit hit and miss. For now I'm only planning of adding one of those, and that is luck, in addition to the standard, strength, defense, magic to Necromancer. But then magic is also going to have at least two sub-categories as well, or so I dream...
