The Dink Network

I came to the point where I'm adding midis to my dmod. However, whenever I call playmidi(), the game freezes for about two seconds, which is annoying. I'm using freedink on windows 10. Is there a way to reduce the lag?

Also, does loopmidi() loops forever, or is this attached to a specific script lifetime? You call loop midi on one screen, and go to the other.

The freeze also happen on midi loop starting over.
