I've made a few updates that i'll push to the repo at some stage. It turns out the minimap preview's slowness was due to the 60 FPS frame limiter. Turning it off means that even large maps now only take a few seconds to fully render...
I've also implemented a new feature that saves entire maps to one giant PNG. Here's a full-sized Mystery Island. If there are any d-mods you've ever wanted to have rendered at full size, now's the time to ask!
