Skurn, your reasons to not continue ponyposting are pathetic. You hyped it (rather, overhyped it) for years and years.
How can you be such a douche as to not follow through with your promise to your fans and cancel a shootpost that you practically shoved into our faces for so long matched with an ego of immeasurable size?
If I sat around wanking off to my new Fluttershy and told everyone "This new ponypost I'm working on is almost done. I know you've been waiting a long time" (not on the DN, of course), and then said "Cancelled. I have better things to do", a lot of followers would drop out and say "What an asshole. He hyped this so much and I was really looking forward to it. Sucks to be a fan of MLP when he can't even follow through."
You could at least have the courtesy to release your ponypost after all the pretentious crap you posted to hype us up. And don't lie; I remember that tagline of yours about being unable to flim flam the glim glam.
Don't worry - there's no shame in releasing an excerpt. We already know it won't be finished so it would fall on us if we complained that it isn't finished after reading it.
I know I wouldn't turn my back on people who were expecting a continuation of a series *I* made. I wouldn't completely reject a cry to finish what I started. You on the other hand? You seem to revel in the massive attention you got when you hyped up your ponypost and then cancelled it with no definitive reason. It's quite sad, really. Someone who makes entertaining clopclop shouldn't cancel it unless they had a really good reason (Oh, the Derpibooru isn't working. I lost all my vector traces and I don't feel the drive to finish it just yet. Nobody has any interest in this anymore so I'll make something else). Just choose one, at least. May fool some of us but it wouldn't matter to you, right?
