Hi, I've been playing through this DMOD for the past few days, and this appears to be a bug. If you have a full inventory and you kill Linus, you do not receive the armor. I've noticed this also happens if you have a full inventory when picking up the fire bow, but when getting normal inventory items (like, for example, picking up a mushroom), the game will leave the item there, telling you your inventory is full.
Unfortunately, it doesn't appear that you can get to the castle VIA brute force.
