Isle of Croth is fun. I love trying to get powerful when you are a wimp and all the enemies are way stronger than you. And then when you finally get powerful, you can get your stats to absurd levels. It feels very open and has a great atmosphere to it.
Stone of Balance is interesting and unique, but very frustrating. It would probably be more fun to play with a walkthrough, but that's not my style. I like the episodic nature of it and the varied locales, but hate that if you miss something you are usually out of luck.
Pilgrim's Quest is awesome but just like Stone of Balance I always get stuck and don't want to look at a walkthrough, and then I get frustrated. But the new stats and big world make it fun until then. And at least this time, you can backtrack.
My reviews in a nutshell.
