Isn't that the case with pretty much every modern video game?
Though I must agree that CoD is overrated as sin. In fact, FPS games in general are way too overrated these days. Another series that's heading the same way as CoD is Assassin's Creed. Sadly, people don't see the fact that Ubisoft's taking quantity over quality with those games.
