Heh, it's a question of when to adapt I guess. The malware is more potent these days and security is a top priority.
Could you elaborate a bit on which control aspects they took away that only Win98 had, except MS-DOS? (which mainly focused on executing programs and managing files on the hard drive, not to mention a slight learning curve increase due to the absence of a GUI)
