ahh Thanks for that. Maybe I should have thought more about the interpretation of the words in the poem to decipher the correct solution. Perhaps I was tired at the time. I guess there's a lesson in that: to take your time, attack the problem when you are fresh, think some more inside and outside the box. Just keep trying things and (although tedious) dying with protected handy items like bombs to start over with!
