B) is right. As Pillbug mentioned though, you can still play dmods with DinkHD, and you can always use FreeDink to create them if you have something weird like a mac. =) (As an aside, the amount of platforms Dink works on is nothing short of amazing - you can even play the game on freaking phones and PSPs)

I think DinkHD is as good as it gets as far as a facelift to Dink is concerned (although DinkHD could certainly be better. It could be not riddled with bugs, for one thing). If this isn't bringing legions of new fans to Dink, I think it's probably mostly just because the game is old... Any new people coming to Dink still need to have a certain appreciation for retro games, even if the original game gets pimped up.

And creating a HQ Dmod wouldn't hurt. But changing the resolution to a more ATTRACTIVE one wouldn't hurt either.

It would be as meaningless as in DinkHD though, unless someone also created HD graphics for Dink. Besides, while I might not describe 640x480 as sexy, or even attractive, it totally has the cute factor going for it.

Oh no, they aren't just scaled! They've also got that "pretty" anti-aliasing filter that makes everything look.... fluffy...

Oyyyy jah. Now just need the film grain effect for cinema-quality graphics.
