I'm Muslim, but I don't mind calling it a Christmas tree or Christmas because I know it's a happy occasion for Christians.
A holiday tree could be any cherry tree you could have planted on a holiday. Christmas Tree means the tree you decorate and hang presents on on Christmas Eve (Am I right?) So yeah, this holiday tree thing is ... useless.
