Re: palette changing / wierd stuff
I was playing around with the palette changing command today and I noticed it acts weird.. I used the command on an inside screen then warped outside via warp sprite. This seems to mess up the color. It worked ok when I used the command on an outside screen. Anyway, I reloaded the save to test some more and the colors were messed up even further by loading. That seemed odd. I exited to the title screen and the palette change was applied there as well. The loading and title screen are easy to fix but, I'm not sure I like this
On a side note it just froze my computer into submission I was using v1.08 aural+.

I've tried it without aural+ and the same thing happens to me. I should also add that not all the sprites get colored correctly. Some are mis-colored (I've verified that they are supposed to look different by doing the palette change just on that screen.) Is it just my computer? Can someone else test this as well?
Edit: load_palette() doesn't make the game freeze (it was another script). But, the colors still get messed up and that is a problem.

i have had a similar problem. when playing lyna's story, the colours change. but when i save/load, the colours are all messed up
You're not running the game in true-color mode, right? Just thought I'd make sure.
Could you e-mail me the palette bitmap you're using? There is a chance that it is not formatted correctly.

I am running the game in normal mode. The palette is on the site. It comes with the Belgotha graphics from SimonK.
I just tried the inverted palette from Lyna's Quest and got the same results.
