set_sprite_info without using .ini
How can I set the hardbox for a whole sequence? If I use load_sequence as normal, for example:
load_sequence graphics\blah\blah\blah- ## ## ## #etc
it only affects the first frame. I don't want to edit the .ini so (I think) can't use set_sprite_info... are there any other ways of doing it?

I'm not sure if it would help, but did you try load_sequence_now?
I did, but it doesn't make a difference.
I'm not sure what's happening now... I've added new graphics and am using the ini so I can test them in WDE. The depth dot is set outside the hardbox and when I look at it in WDE all looks ok but when I make it hard and play the game it is hard only in a small area around the depth dot and not in the hardbox.
..... I typed all that then tested it with the d. dot inside the box and it works

And I don't know what happened to my original question. I've been fiddling so much I forgot what I was doing exactly in the first place
