outlander--- patterns in the game
I've been having one of the most difficult times of my playing years on this one! Besides the fact that it crashes so much, I'm beginning to think that it's INTENTIONAL! There are certain things I can kill, some more difficult, but, if I get in over my head, THAT'S when it crashes! I only have one question at the moment: Where can I find an empty bottle to put magic water from the dragon well in? Don't say "buy some whiskey", that doesn't work! The bottle vanishes if I drink it!
I have only ONE suggestion, and I'm sure everyone knows this: SAVE, SAVE, SAVE! I'm thinking I might replay this in a day or so, because I found some of the order it should be played in.

It didn't crash so much for me. Maybe your download was somewhat faulty? Did you try redownloading and reinstalling the Dmod?
Yes I did. I even redid the original Dink Smallwood. While I'm right here; I cannot get ultimate cheat to work! What I do is this: c:\program files\donk smallwood\dink\story\key-67.c This SHOULD work?! What am I missing?
You've already asked this in the other thread so don't mix it into this one - it'll just get confusing.
... Donk Smallwood?

strange. I've tried it on different versions of the game, and it should be working as long as you're using invertigo's source project. as far as the empty bottles go, they don't come into play until later in the game, farther than the demo goes. Similar to how taking dirt and logs won't help you until the third or fourth land, and the demo only goes to the second. about ultimate cheat, if there's already that key in use (I may have accidently left some test keys) you can always change the filename to work on a different key.
