alright, im almost ashamed to be asking this but....
How would I go about adding my own loading screen to my D-mod
How would I go about adding my own loading screen to my D-mod
That's not a dumb question at all 
You can do like this: Go into the dink main game folder and search for "Splash" in the tile section. When you've find it simple copy it into your own D-mod, tile section. From there just change picture for what you like to show up
