You don't need "01". Like this load_sequence_now graphics\stuffs\item- 850
Did you place the line in the correct place? And is your item called item-01?
Is the graphic in the graphics folder and then in stuffs?? Is 850 a free slot??? I realy don't know what could go wrong.
Maybe item-01 is already in use. Maybe renaming it would work.
Edit: that won't work I think.
Edit: that won't work I think.
I have changed the name, and the 850 to 851 now, but no graphic
Do I have to have sprite info on it?
Do I have to have sprite info on it?
Indeed I have no idea what could go wrong maybe it's something with the graphic itself that it can't be loaded or something
I took a screen shot of a barrel, and on the fist-item, removed the fist and changed it for the barrel... It's a .BMP... Anything sounds terrible wrong?
No only that you could have taken the barrel from the bmp_dinkpack
Indeed put aparently something doesn't. Have you loaded graphics into Dink before?
Maybe could try it with an other item just something simple to test it in case that's the problem else I don't know what could be wrong.
I tried now with one from the dink graphics pack, a cup, but it wont show either
Did you put the line in the dinkini file? Man this thread is so useless I don't think I offer much help.
Yepp it's in the dink.ini, and you're right, this threat is pretty long already
I have no idea what it could be. Somebody else maybe?
I wonder if it's a bug here... Now I have some graphics named item-01, item-02 etc. etc. and the .ini files:
load_sequence_now graphics\items\item- 851, but when i'll check if they are there in windinkedit the program gets an error message with the text "There is no empty memory" and I have to close wintdinkedit then with ctrl+alt+delete
load_sequence_now graphics\items\item- 851, but when i'll check if they are there in windinkedit the program gets an error message with the text "There is no empty memory" and I have to close wintdinkedit then with ctrl+alt+delete
AARGH!! Why won't my graphics show up?! And whats worse... When I have inserted the
load_sequence graphics\items\item- 851 WHITE NOTANIM
in my ini, the windinkedit cant open because it says "There is no empty memory"... Why?
The graphics are like the dink's fist item.. just an icon for backpack.
PLEASE HELP ME SOMEONE!
EDIT: I want three icons to show up... named item-01, item-02 and item-03

Hey Marpo remember me, you said you had the same problem as me. Any way, I FINALY got my graphics to work. I tried to sample your problem. ....
Name you item ds-it-01... Then go like this in the ini.
load_sequence_now graphics\items\ds-it- 874. I used 874 you don't have to, but i got my item to appear. I know how frustrating it is because it took me a month.

And the graphics are .bmp, forgot to mention that. I really want to use this graphic inventory item in my
D-Mod, so please continue try help me
D-Mod, so please continue try help me
I just tested it, it should work.
dang! It didn't work! my anger rages... But thanks anyway... I guess my graphics never will work...
Alright, so let me see what your path to your image is.
Ok here is the path: C:\Program\Dink Smallwood\TestDMod\GRAPHICS\Items
So what did you put in the ini???
I put this into the .ini: load_sequence_now graphics\items\ds-it- 874
Are you putting it in the space at the very very bottom. If you are I don't know what you are doing wrong.
Are you checking to see if appears in the sprite inventory. ALSO: have you made a script for it? it wont show up in ur inventory if u dont have a script for it, and what are you putting if the script is barrel
then put add_item("barrel"); If that doesnt work i dont know if anyody can help...
then put add_item("barrel"); If that doesnt work i dont know if anyody can help...
The thing is, I can't get in to the windinkedit when I put this load_sequence_now GRAPHICS\items\ds-it- 874 into the .ini... I tried some other graphics from PQ, and it did work.
When I press "E" to see the sprites, then I get an error message something like this "There's no emty memory"
When I press "E" to see the sprites, then I get an error message something like this "There's no emty memory"
I don't think it will help, but graphics isn't capitalized.
I have a new idea that might work... Can I send the graphics to someone, so you can test them and see if it works for you?
FINALY, my brother helped and noticed instantly that you had ds_it_ 03 as the .bmp graphic name instead of ds-it-03. Which is what you put in the ini. They didn't match so it didn't find the image. It should work now.
