Where...?
I added a graphic to Dink and I can see it in WinDinkEdit, but when I tried to go into DinkEdit to change the depth, it wasn't there. I looked through all the graphics but I still couldn't find it. What did I do wrong?
WDE is more fault tolerant than DE is. Make sure that your dink.ini line doesn't have more than one space between numbers and is less than 78 characters.
load_sequence graphics\circ\circ- 01 02 03 BLACK
That's what I put in Dink.ini, It doesn't have any extra spaces in it. I tried a different slot, but it still won't show up.

You don't use numbers like 01 02 or 03, they should be 1, 2 or 3. Try those numbers and if it still doesn't work, try a different seq (slot) as using seq/slot 1 isn't the handiest thing to do, I think.
Aside from Simeon's correct observation, never load graphics into slots less than 10, Dink does some funny stuff with them. Try slot 39 (I think its free).
And... I'm not exactly sure why 2 and 3 are there. The 2 refers to the animation speed (i.e. by default, each frame will be displayed 2 milliseconds), and 3 refers to one of the hardbox coordinates.
I'd recommend doing something like this:
load_sequence graphics\circ\circ- 39 75 BLACK

Makes it so Black is transparent instead of white.
