I experience a game freeze after buying light sword in rock bottom village.
Any help?

That's not good. How much gold do you have? Was your inventory full before losing your bag? And finally, does it crash when you press buy, when he hands it to you, or when talking with Robyn?

I'll fix it and upload something tomorrow night along with a couple other bugs I've been told about.

Gold = 2981. Inventory not full before losing bag. It does not crash but freeze after buying and talking to seller, having light sword in hand and mentioning Robyn. I have the saved game here:

To be honest, I did use a cheat script "the ultimate cheat" to kill enemies when I did not want to bother...

Also, I am not sure whether it is a bug, but I did not leave Greenwall by bridge with knights on each side but walked across river to the southeast of Greenwall with an unusual dark green branched out sideways tree.

Thanks for the save file. I just tried it out and it worked fine for me, however.

no button able to be pressed with some action, not even menus or anything.
I am using windows xp and original dink 1.08.
Installed freedink and it works now.

Figured it out from your save-file. Robyn is meant to be in that room with you, so that you have a conversation immediately after buying the sword. I think because you've skipped over something when you left Greenwall without the bridge, you've missed one of the flags to move him in there.

The freeze is happening because the game's waiting for Robyn to walk over to Dink, which obviously isn't possible if he's not in the room. I imagine FreeDink just knows not to wait for something like that which would be why it doesn't freeze.

Did you complete the Ice Caps area before heading into the mountains?

Yeah, that's unintentional, just fixed that. I can't guarantee that freeze'll be the only problem depending on where you were in the story when you crossed the river. Think it should be okay, but can't make any promises. Glad to hear you got past it anyhow.

Only saw now they exist as time traveler in black robe.

Bruhhh. You missed a huge chunk of the game! One of my favourite bosses was in that area. I've uploaded a patch to stop that happening along with a couple other things, so that should go live at some point. Thanks for telling me about it, it's appreciated!

Might also fancy editing that last bit, kinda spoiler-heavy for anyone that hasn't played it yet
