Do i need any program do edit soucre code or can i just use notepad or Ultra Edit?

Depends, you can edit it with notepad or so, but you need a compiler to actually create the .exe (and above all, you need at least some C++ knowledge).

Actually, currently, the source code only supports being compiled in Microsoft's Visual C++. That will soon (hopefully) change...
