trying to get past the trees on rai, ive gone to the screen where it says i need to get past these trees. then when i go to the wizards houses now it has begun to have an option for asking how to get past the trees all of them say they dont know or maybe someone else does including the one in the northern most house that the walkthrough says will help, not that i read the entire thing as i dont want a spoiler but was annoyed enough to read that part. anyway,is this a bug do i need to redownload or what, also if i do redownload will i lose my savegame?

well, i downloaded a new copy and im still getting the same answer from the guy in the northmost house he says he doesnt know somebody else in the village might know but all the other same the same or they dont know, i even went straight to the trees and back to his house and tried that way still nothing.

still stuck, please help.;( i might

i dont think that is supposed to happen at this point in the game, im trying to get past the trees that are blocking passage to the southern part of rai island. according to the walkthrough, of which i only read a short enough section to try and help with this apparent problem/bug/whatever, it says once i know the trees have to be removed im to go talk to the wizard in the northmost house of the island to find out what i need to remove the trees, which apparently is a potion to turn me into a duck, i guess, so i can sneak past the old lady in the house. problem is he isnt giving that option to me he says he doesnt know how but someone else might the others are all saying the same thing or they just dont know. so im thinking something is wrong with the game, although i may have missed something entirely, i even redownloaded it and tried again with the same result.

Find the wizard named Daan on Rai. he is in the house on the northeast side of the village. the house is placed just behind another, I overlooked it my first time around the village. Talk to Daan (he is the wizard who gives you the option of asking "where are the chicks?") and he will ask you for a slayer claw in return for the information about the trees.
