My LP's: 2 things....
2 things that suck my balls:
1. I recently got a bad virus on my computer, it screwed it up completely and I had to format it. Lost the previous videos I made and the save game for Dink Smallwood, so I am really screwed now I can't make the next video from where I was in the game. I am trying to use software to recover it, but I got nowhere so far.
Was Just letting everyone know I might have to start again, which I'm sure you'll agree: definitely sucks my balls
2. Now that I have lost the previous videos, even if I do manage to recover my save game, I still will be screwed if youtube decides to delete any of my othet videos, as I want be able to re-upload them. So this is a pile of crap, hence why it sucks my balls.
3. Just got back from the pub (Friday night is pub night), sorry if my post sucks my balls because of the spelling and grammar or whatever. My keyboard must be on drugs, because it's blurry and seems to be moving all over the place, it must have shared them with my desk, and this whole dang room. so it also sucks my balls.
Ok nite... will try to fix this shoote in the morning.

I'm pretty sure you can download your YouTube videos back to your hard disk. Google it, I'm sure I read somewhere how to do it.

Yeh, it is possible to do that, but the problem with that is when videos are uploaded to youtube they are converted to .flv format. So downloading them in that format, then converting them back to whatever format is needed to re-upload them to youtube will reduce the quality of the videos. However, I might be able to recover them from my computer as well, hopefully.

But you can go to your videos profile: http://www.youtube.com/my_videos and click "Download MP4" in each video you want to download, MP4 is the HD format Youtube uses and it will let you re-upload MP4 files without recoding or loosing quality.
And about the savegame.. Wasn't there an editor for changing parameters in the savegame files? Perhaps it would help.

Thanks for this information, it really helps. I forgot about the MP4 download link of the videos, I just downloaded them all again and I tried to recover the save game but it was corrupted, so I'll just use the save game editor of justice thingy to get everything back the way it was. Now I've just got to re-watch all my previous videos and find out which barrels, chests and other sprites that use editor information I have to change with it, lol.

Nope, I back that up occasionally, and since the last back up I only added 2 more map screens and 3 scripts, and I can easily redo those... so my Dmods all good lol.

Youtube Downloader That's the program I use to get vids off youtube. It also converts .flv to anything else you want, so sweet.
Thank the heavens that at least one Dinker is smart enough to make backups of D-Mods.

LP stands for Let's Play. It is basicly a video of someone playing a certain game to show how to play it and stuff
