The Dink Network

Well, this is propably the strangest video I ever saw. First we see credits and stuff then we see a wormhole thingy or something, then we see asteroids and then a planet and then ocean with an island thingy or something, and then we see dragons or something flying in a place which looks a lot like the place I see in my dreams (really) with explosions of some sort, then a naked woman taking a shower, then a passageway to a weird foggy place with a big head in it, then another dragon flying in the sunset (hey what happened to the others?), then one flies down the passageway, we see one through some flames, and YET AGAIN we see the passageway, this time we take a closer look at the head, a fire ignites under it, the eyes twinkle in red, we see a roow with a table in it and a candle, a mug and a book on the table, the book suddenly closes before I have time to read it, and the final surprise I'll let you see yourself.
Cool music though.

Granted the Movie itself was Impressive but what the hell did it have to do with dink? It sounded good to begin with but then... It just went downhill when I downloaded it, granted it was good, but It could of been about Dink Smallwood... Oh well, still interesting I guess...

Argh, I was really disappointed when I downloaded that. It is a 3D intro movie for Dink Smallwood. Strangely, it has almost anything to do with Dink Smallwood and, of course, was not made with the Dink engine. It last about 2 minutes, I think. You can see dragons flying in some devastated land ( The Darklands perhaps ? ) and such. I didn't understand anything of what was going on. You cannot see this in full screen. And it weights around 30 MB. Luckily, it has been compressed, but alas, it's still huge to download. Too bad, because the graphics and the music are nice.

Overall : 4,0. You should really have a very fast internet connection to get this. Download only if you are bored.

I have the CD, so I already watched this intro movie.

It indeed has almost nothing to do with the game, but it is a quite impressive movie. The only things that are also in the game are dragons. But in the movie they fly, in the game they do not.

It reminded me of WarCraft II, it gives a certain impression. Though I must say that neither WarCraft II nor Dink Smallwood live up to that. But in WarCraft II you have in between movies – or snapshots – that are made in the same style, and Dink Smallwood does not have that.

I would not say this is a must download, since you will not miss anything if you have not seen this intro movie. But I guess that if you are really into the game of Dink Smallwood and if you want to know everything there is about to know, you will download this.
And the movie will not disappoint you.
