This would be a near perfect cross between Dink Smallwood and Mortal Kombat.
You get to choose what to fight, what weapons and magic you have and your stats and life.
Bugs:

On the beach level, you can walk over part of the water.
Good:

New magic - Nightmare
you can use the boomerang
You can fight all the basic monsters including Mog.
Bad:

You can't fight Seth.
Overall, a great game.
If you like Mortal Kombat or Killer Instinct I think this is perfect for you.
