True, this applies mainly to USA products, i cannot say the same for any other countries products because i dont know. corporations more or less run this country now, most congress people are in the pocket of whoever gave them the money to fund their campaigns. it is actually a requirement to list all ingredients in this country too, but my point is that they just rename what the ingredient is to something that sounds innocent.
Those links were just a quick search i did.. took about a whole 10-15 minutes to find and post all that. there are many many more sites i didnt check out or list. cant really say that they are all vegetarian fanatics, i'm sure some of the people who wrote those do eat meat still... probably organic meat tho. A lot of the people who wrote these articles were either in the industry or are veterinarians, so they are more likely to be reliable sources.
The reason people have been able to survive thousands of years eating meat is because it didnt have all the steroids and rendered 'food' fed to the animals. But like i said in a previous post, it's a personal decision of mine not to eat meat and i'm not gonna tell anyone else not to eat it. I was just stating why i dont, since i was dissed that i was a vegetarian *cough* by you *cough*. If attacked, i will respond. In the end tho, people should at least know what they're eating or feeding their pets.
