Well, I just got my new computer yesterday, so here's what I have right now...

My monitor is actually 1600 by 900 but I halved the picture.

My desktop is 1680 by 1050, but I made the picture smaller:

Yes, I have the most simple and boring desktop ever.

Mine's very boring, because I don't put (much) stuff on my desktop, and I never change the background, cause I end up never looking at my desktop anyway. Here it is anyway.

I don't see my desktop that often either. This is why it has no icons. Or anything else. Not sure if it can actually be called a desktop.

Note: Since about one week, it has a background picture of me and some other people in front of the Tower of London. This is the background that I had before that, because I'm not sure if these other people like me to put random pictures of them online.
