THIS IS THE THIRD TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED!! Sorry for yelling... Let me explain my situation and why I #$@%! hate my computer. Ok I get into the d-mod creation prossese about 8mounths almost ready to finally release my d-mod and the computer $@%!s up and I lose everything on my computer including my d-mod that I've slaved over dayly. This has happened 3 times now. The sad thing it was my lap top this time... so now i have to use the family computer. Guess what its Windows Vista!! Now I need to figure out a way to get vista to work or buy a new lap top...



PS:I put in the sensors my self I don't condon swereing so don't give me (South Harmin Instatut of Technology)...

I'm gona buy me some burnable disks and put my dink files on it mounthly so i dont lose the stuff again...

It happened to me, after attempting to make my first ever DMOD, LOD (Land of Destruction). Unfortunately my comp is still stuffed and won't turn on. But luckily i got a brand new computer the next day. (BTW it was christmas. Great timing you think? wrong. bad timing because i couldn't send files to other computer)

LOD was later abandoned, and DESA was started

I probably will abandon my d-mod i had on my old computer and make a compleatly diffrent one.
QFMM (Quest for More Money) Was a compleatly stupid d-mod and i probably lernd enough from it to acutly make a good d-mod.

How do you manage to lose all data that quickly, anyway? My stuff's been on here since two years, and I messed around plenty with the partitions...

Oh hahaha very funny Tal this is all true. My explanation on how i lose it so fast is my life sucks any time I buy a lap top it has some sort of glitch which screws with its life spane. So the point for this post was realy not defined to overly well. What im trying to get past, I was tierd last night so posted why I was mad not what I wanted to get out of this topic.

You're not using nested view are you? I don't see why any other view is allowed, misunderstandings like these are becoming all the more frequent.

You just ran into the same brick wall I did. I think I'm going to wait for Phoenix to come out with the new EZDink-C.

You might try running the editors in win98 compatibility mode, and see if they work. I have an older Compaq that is slower than molasses, that I think I'll haul out and strip everything off the HD except Windows2000 pro OS, and see if all the editors will run on it, if so I'll put PSP7 on it and sluggishly plod through working on my Dmod till EDC is up and running.

duck, my comp just decided to stuff up isass.exe and now windows wont start. i am currently running my computer on a linux Live cd, which runs my computer via the disc drive
