Supposedly, my former Computer Programming teacher once picked up his computer and dropped it off the end of a dock.
Ah. Yet another happy Windows user, I see.
Hey, random violence against hardware isn't just windows specific. I had a grand day once playing toss the monitor when I destroyed 35 CRT tubes. Those things can take a shoot-load of abuse.
With your similar icons, I thought Phoenix had finally lost it, and had subsequently begun arguing with himself.
I thought random violence against hardware was linux-specific...
I have never felt more like throwing my laptop out of the window then after working on linux. *shivers*

Exactly, this was in the days before Windows...
Being able to use Linux flawlessly is what separates us geeks from you n00bs. So that makes you a n00b.
Ever since I made the true switch (i.e. I've never gone back since) I've never wanted to return. I'm much happier in this environment. My computer is always responsive, everything Just Works(tm) and things hardly ever crashes. And if it does, it does nothing but end that specific program, not making anything else unstable while at it. Also, with the recent development, I can even run Dink natively here without any problems.
What more can I ask for?
