Re: Creating Proper Forum Topics
There are a few people that have been posting spam topics lately. About half of the recent topics that appear for me are either a redundant posting of an earlier topic or spam.
- Please don't post a topic if you simple want to chat or tell someone something... You can always send a person a private message.
- Posting something like "qweuyuiodsfghjt" is neither constuctive, funny, necessary, or mature. Messages like this are garbage- no one reads them, and they will only be deleted.
- Posting a question that you asked yesterday will not make your question get answered faster. This is not the most active place, and it often takes a long time to find some that has the answer that you are looking for.
- Alternatively, if you are impatient, many of your questions can probably be answered by searching for relative topics using the SEARCH function at the top of the screen.
- Please don't post things like: "Teach me how to make D-Mods" etc... These sort of questions cannot adequately do answered in a reply- plus there are plenty of guides and resources. Instead try asking about specific issues that you are having... ie. If you ask a question like "How do I place sprites in DinkEdit?" or "How do I make a monster script?"... then someone might be able to answer.

I present to you The Rules. Some of your suggestions might be included, but how much clarity do you really need? It's mostly the forum newbies spamming.
I've basically memorized that page... but forum newbies always seem to miss it...
Anyway, thanks for the link.

By the way, you know those posts like "Buy viagra", or something, which have been getting quite popular lately.
So, I think we should not even read them, or response. It will do no good. They will get deleted, so don't care them.
I would recomment just to reply to an earlier post, and trying not to care about those "buy viagra" things.
So, please people, don't reply to spams like these. Instead try to think, that post doesn't exist.

How about we all turn "view deleted posts?" off? And if you see one of those spambot posts before it's deleted, then don't do anything, don't reply to it, then people who don't see it before it's deleted will not even know it's there. Good, eh?
