It's been a while since this was released, but I have yet to see any other d-mods that can access a network/the internet. Someone was one of the very first (arguably) good d-mod makers, and the fact that this thing has been laying here for five dusty years is akin to spitting on his cyberweb grave. <3 rants.

The guy with the cute D-Mod.
I would really love a D-Mod that you could play multiplayer in! That would be truly awesome! When I was younger, I always asked my big brother if he knew of any way to play a multiplayer game in Dink, but he didn't know of any, which, of course, sucked misserably. Maybe I'll have a little look through the source of that D-Mod...

Oh hey.
Yeah, a Dink MMO would be pretty good. Though we'd need a server and a variety of places to go to and stuff. I mean, we've got that but it would require a lot of hard work. It wouldn't take one night, or even one month! But who knows...

Well, I'm currently working on recreating the Dink Smallwood engine in a very flexible and pretty fast RPG creator called Sphere, including Dmodding functionality.

Some of the basics for creating a Dmod will be vastly different though. For example, it uses pure Javascript (because Sphere uses it) and object-oriented programming (because it makes Dmodding flexible and easier). This will eliminate original Dmod functioanlity, so they'll be called JSDmods.

Sphere has networking functionality, so I might just implement that. I'll have to see if I can get the entire base system working first, though.
