Gameplay poll
Everyone knows "Shadows of the New Order" is gonna be revolutionary in any way
EXCEPT for the gameplay... We've got barely any gameplay ideas yet.. so I'm asking you:
What do you like to see in a massive rpg, that CAN be done: (think puzzles, quests, etc.)

Morrowind style, you know, A gaint land, with cities, you need to complete the main quest, but you can join houses, and do mini-quests.

Yeah, I was thinking of a lot of mini quests too
But, what kind of? I mean a bit more detailed, what special stuff should there be that most other dmods have not? Or else it'd be just an average dmod with great graphics and sound...

So tell me : what's left???
(can you imagine those reviews : "I give this mod 9.9 'cause I like walking in a nicely designed forest with a couple of new trees and oh yes the midi's were awsome! The gameplay sucked like hell but who cares, it ain't THAT important!!!)
btw: use a lot of action-scripted parts to keep the mod going!!!
btw2: no morrowind please (I own and love my morrowind but) such a massive mod will never see the light of day!!! Try to focus on the storyline instead!

well if there's gonan be new weapons and stuff like that, then they should obviously be fire arms, like laser weapons and rocket launchers =p
*hey, if ur looking for somebody to design some new still graphics, id be glad to help =), if not, then thats ok*

I can vouch for that...
I can vouch for that...
Thw gameplay of a d-mod cannot be changed dramatically, or else it would take a stupidly long time to implement. A strong storyline, with your usual quests andcombat, but with more interactivity on the direction of the game is the best thin to do...I think.

Yeah, you're right. We shouldn't change the gameplay dramatically, but I still want some new stuff. (I have thought something which I will mail you, btw)
Anyway, I'm thinking puzzles! What kind of puzzles should the game have?

dangit!!! I won't give you any hints on how I plan to do it!
OK, just one: lotsa random stuff. (You must help some guy and chooses a random quest to do)
Also makes it interesting for playing it again!!!

Uhm yeah. I played all Zeldas, but it would be kinda lame to just copy those ideas into my dmod, wouldn't it? Then it would be called Shadows of the New Zelda or something. I could think about how zelda was though, and get some 'inspiration', ghe ghe
