FB2 Remake
I am still planning on releasing this... I haven't been working on it much due to some time contraints/job issues, but I hope to begin working on it at a more steady pace. Due to leaving my old job, I have lost some of my software to use, but hopefully I can still realize what I intend for it to be. I am scaling back some of my ambition so I can hopefully release this sooner rather than later, but don't expect it anytime soon either. I'll do my best to get it out asap though.
Well, it's good to know the project hasn't died. The screenshots released were very cool, and I be anticipating this d-mod great time.

The absolutely horrible JPEG compression is not appreciated, but from what I can make out in the pic the Dmod is looking pretty good.

Well, I have been logging a lot of time on this recently. Hopefully I don't get burned out
Anyway, I am working my way through one of the major plot lines now. Still in the early stages, but I like where it is going. I'm still trying to work out the branching path dynamic and how that is all going to work, but that is coming a long as I progress. Hopefully I can get this bad boy out sometime in the next few months or years

This is starting to look good.
However, it's probably better if you redo the lightning spell. In that screenshot, it looks quite MS Paintish. Making it white, a bit thinner, and antialiasing might make it better.

I think it looks better in motion. I'll see what I can do though
I took a few weeks off to play Super Paper Mario... development is back on though. Things are getting quite complicated so hopefully I can figure out a good system so the game plays well. I think it will end up ok, but it is taking longer than I had hoped to manage everything.
Things are still progressing. I must say I didn't realize how ambitious this project was. I have made quite a bit of progress, but I want this to be better than any DMOD I have made before, and I don't think that is going to be a problem. Hopefully it is well recieved

This is tthe first time I'm viewing this thread, so, great work. Keep it up. The screenshots look nice. But there's one thing I noticed. In the snowy one with the house the door appears to be too far out. The door should be right up against the house, not sticking out like that. Other than that, everything looks awesome!

That was a problem I had in the past with my dmods. This one is going to undergo thorough beta testing before it's release
I'll take a look at the door thing. I haven't touched that world much yet, so I will address that when I start working on that area more. Thanks for the heads up.

By the looks of the screenshots, and the talk in the thread, this is going to be an awesome DMOD. Can't wait for it to be released. Looking & sounding good Wes.
I took the last 3 months or so off when my sister in law caught her husband cheating on her and moved in with us with her 18 month old, but now things are settling down and things are progressing again. I went back and reworked a few of the areas to make them a little more robust and hopefully I can get this close to beta stage sooner rather than later.
Sounds fantastic Wes. I would love to Beta test when you're ready.

Oh yeah... definitely get plenty of Beta testers this time. I'd offer my help, but I'm notoriously unreliable in getting things done on time... plus, I already bugtest for living, so I be getting even more of that than usual.

Progress has been slow as of late with many work related projects going on. Still, I have made a decent amount of progress. I have a lot of the planning done and just have to code it. It's still coming and I think it will be good. Perhaps not great (maybe great *crosses fingers*), but a good solid game.

Proceeding very slowly recently. I've been really busy and having a hard time working on a certain quest in the game... I think I am working through it now finally though, so progress can hopefully begin again.

yes, I have redone a couple of areas to flesh out the gameplay a bit more. I'm trying to do some new stuff, but since I have been away from the dmod scene for so long, it may not be new at all
