i need webspace!
im going to start an e-zine. which stands for electronic zine. which is basically a mini magazine that is done on the internet. does anyone have webspace they can let me use, for free? i dont know php or anything yet but im going to learn all i can to make it a legit site. i know a little asp.net. is this still even used? and if so should i use it at all? im really serious about this project. any help at all would be very appreciated.
I've been using Micfo for over a year, and they give very very good service and have good quality. I used the paid variant, though, but their free service seems to promise the same as the paid version, sans the support you get from paying, as well as the increased storage space and bandwidth of course. So... since it's free, you can at least give it a try. My testimonial is that they're great.
i go to sign up for the free thing
"I will use My Existing Domain and update My Nameservers only."
uh. what am i supposed to do with that?

I could host you on my dedicated server, for a very low fee.
im not interested in paying any fees but more in learning xhtml, css, php, and figuring out if any of my asp is of any use, considering the fact that im a very oldschool html designer who still uses the unending table within table within table within table methods.
Ah ok, then. Phoenix have thought me some lessons about not using tables, lol.
There's lots of webdesign tutorials on w3schools. It helped me a lot.
i just bought a book on css seems easier than trying to learn piece by piece from other people or random tutorials
Well, w3schools is from W3C, that web standardization company... But I guess a book would help too.

I don't think w3schools is officially related to the W3C. From their copyright page: "All pages and graphics on this Web site are the property of Refsnes Data.". There was no mention of the W3C.
Ah, okay. I somehow thought it was, since it links to w3c.org a lot and had this W3C-alike name.
