The Dink Network

Okay, this will be fun... you, other people, and anyone else who is not me can be actors in the story. I will simply fill in for the settings and actions occur... no one else has this power- only I shall be able to tell the outcome of one's actions. eg. you throw a stick at a coconut monkey... I shall tell you whether the stick hits the monkey or if it misses... but you can't...

The Story... Dink's evil nemesis', the coconut monkeys, have stolen all the bananas from the Dink Network, and replaced them with- guess what?- coconuts. As Dink, yourself, or some completely madeup character you must either help, hinder, or be present on dink's quest to retrieve the bananas before Tal loses his mind... Start posting!! this should be entertaining...

Naw. Don't quite understand what you mean though. At least let everyone make their own actions throughout the story, that'd be neat.

He means that you are supposed to continue on the story and when ur done post that and someone else will continue on what you wrote etc etc.

Sure... okay... as long as you don't have Dink get through into a red scorpion pit by the Church of Righteousness before using a savebot... anyway, if I don't like what someone has written then I will just kill Dink and rewrite the story from when it was last saved... Think of it sorta like making a D-Mod- except all you have to do to progress in the story is write what happens... Mainly I don't want people to give characters god-powers and have themselves totally screw up everything...

I present you: The Dink Network's Interactive Story!

Neat... It will take me a long time to see the entire story, but I am working on contributing to it... This is designed to be a simple linear story in which there are no real choices except to write what happens next... many thanks Magicman...I would really like someone to start this story up....

Well... I thi... nevermind. I forgot what I was gonna say. Oh yeah. The interactive story is okay, but not as cool as the Never-Ending Story, even though it was constantly bombarded. However, the Interactive story is a "never-ending story" if Dinkers want it to be.

Then Interactive story doesn't kill my server... the neverending one does... therefore I like the interactive story better...

But at least the Never-ending story had some heart.

Well, excuse me, but I prefer to have all my organs. So I would guess the story would like to too.

Don't forget the church organs. Oh, um... don't forget the spleen either.... that one is important for a good story.
