Re: Timeline
Whatever happened to the Dink Smallwood timeline? There used to be a timeline that put all the DMODs in sequence as if everything was canon. I'm sure that's impossible to reconcile now (probably even then), but it was interesting. Is it still around anywhere?
A new timeline could still be made, based on the news posts and dates... If all news still exists somewhere.

I don't think you get it, unfortunately. The old timeline cocomonkey's talking about didn't have to do with news, it listed D-Mods in order of the time period they would take place in, along with some information on the D-Mods and their events.
For example, Stone of Balance was released before Pilgrim's Quest, but let's imagine that Stone of Balance took place in 1997 and Pilgrim's Quest took place in the year 245, and Dink Smallwood takes place in the year 600. The timeline listings may look like this:
Pilgrim's Quest
Takes place nearly three and a half centuries before Dink Smallwood
(D-Mod info here)
Dink Smallwood
(Info on Dink here)
Stone of Balance
Takes place 1397 years after Dink Smallwood
(D-Mod info here)

Ah yeah, the Timeline. Here's an old version of the Timeline

That's fun! Never knew it was there, but this is really good! Thanks!
Could really use all the new D-Mods, but it would take a long time to put all the D-Mods in chronological order. There is at least 100 D-Mods, maybe more...
Edit: There are about 222 D-mods...yeah, it would take a long time.

The "Cast Awkening" is... totally... eronated.
Well, read the description, then play the DMOD. See any difference? No? You should.
Back when dinosaurs roamed the internet (1998), I had an idea for a D-Mod simply titled Cast Awakening. Much like the Timeline description says, it would take place parallel to the original Dink adventure, with your character as a member of the Cast. You would get to burn down Dink's house, kidnap Nadine's daughter, do whatever Joon does in Kernsin (he's mentioned in the original game), start the duck cult in Windemere, unleash dragons on Joopa Isle, and more.
But, I never got very far along, and it just didn't seem very fun.
When I was trying to think of a new name for my series of D-Mods, I realized I could steal the 'Cast Awakening' title, and wala.
