Spore
Now that Oblivion has been realised.. I have chosen my next game to be terribly terribly excited about... Spore!
Made by Will Wright it will allow you to evolve from a microbe to a galatic god!

I have no idea why im posting this, but I dont care XP I came up with a couple slogans not sure why.
Spore: What would you do with the power to be a god?
Spore: The only game where a cockroach can become a god.

Bah!
Give me Supreme Commander first. Spore's a *long* way off.

Interesting. Seems like a very cool and addictive game to me.
I don't plan to upgrade my pc for any game. I don't even plan to upgrade it so it's Windows Vista ready. I do plan to upgrade it so that it's acceptable to me. As it stands my PC's powers isn't good enougyh for my liking. As a computer nerd I'm not satisfied unless I have a computer that is more powerful that I need. So as soon as I get a job (hopefully the one I just applied for) I'm going to start saving up for upgrades.
Dont get me wrong, Im excited about the next TA too, all hail Supreme Commander also.
So why not let the upgrading have a purpose besides the powerfulness and play games too

O I will. It's just that games aren't the reason for doing it. I'll also make use of the power by upgrading to Vista. The main game I want to get is Age of Empires III.
AOE3 doesnt have THAT high system requirements you know, lets see what it says on the box...
Windows XP
256mg ram
1.4Ghz processor
2 GB HD
64mg Graphics Card
Speakers
I DONT think you need to upgrade to Vista for that to work, Since it may not even work on Vista

I'll hold out on critiquing your fascinating slogans and add that, while the concept is unique and interesting, it doesn't sound like it would make for a game that I would enjoy very much.
I also grow weary of hearing about Will Wright.
Just my two cents.

I don't meet the graphics card requirement. That's why I said my PC need an upgare to be able to play AOEIII. I only have an integrated graphics chip. I more than meet the other requirements. I just lack in the graphics department.
He also created a multitude of other Sim-games, including the classic SimCity series.
<Insert fond memories of me playing SimCity on the SNES and later playing SimCity 2000 on the pc, my first pc game, requiring me to purchase an extra 4 mb of RAM, which was expensive at the time, but was still worth it>

I don't think everyone here automatically links "Maxis" to "every Sim game fathomable". Those of us familiar with the company would, granted...
Also, Will Wright is listed in the aforementioned Wikipedia article as a co-founder, so presumably someone else "made" Maxis as well.
