Is there a Dink Reference 4.0? I saw it referenced on a board by redink1 but can't find a link to download it (if it exists).

I just happen to think he already got 1.08... So your link is pretty useless. There is a downloadlink on this site, but I believe it's an old version, so here comes a second useless link: DinkC

add http:// before it and change the \ 's into / 's. I've seen this error before: IE and some other browser can support backslashes, but other browsers like FF don't support backslashes, only slashes.

This should work.

But FF is way better than IE (even IE7 Beta 2 Refresh). Especially with version 1.5.0.1. And version 2.0 (which is already in alpha 1 (codename Bon Echo) stage and should be ready for a second quater release of the final version (with alpha 1 of version 3 due by the end of the year).

It works fine in Firefox 1.07 (the University Computer Labs don't have 1.5.0.1 or even 1.5 yet). I have 1.5.0.2 (some test version I assume since I can't find it on Mozilla's site only softpedia.com) and 2.0 Alpha 1 on the other hand (thanks to the wonderful people at softpedia.com

I guess I'm stupid, you're quite right DaVince...

I fixed the link... Or shouldn't I have done that?

@DraconicDink: FF may be better than IE, but it doesn't support backslashes in URLs, only slashes. That's all I was talking about.

I realise that. I was just pointing out that despite that FF is better than even IE7 Beta 2 Refresh, which is the best version of IE yet due it finally having tabbed browsing built in and a anti-phishing tool (which no other browser I know of has).

No actually I wasn't. I was simply stating an opinion.

On FF rather than on the problem. Now let's talk about good DinkC reference stuff.
