I can't edit graphics if they're packed into DIR files. How do I unpack them?

You can't.

download the Dink graphics pack if you want to edit the original graphics.

Yes you can. I wrote a dir.ff extractor once. It's amusingly easy once you understand how the format works. I don't have it anymore, though, so don't bother asking.

Just download file from this page:http://simonk.dinkworld.com/public/ffextract.zip.
It can unpack the dir.ff files, so then you can edit the graphics.

There's one on this site too Undink comes with one, but be careful using it. Some authors may not want you to 'tamper' with their graphics that they worked so hard on.

Man I was thinking that there wasn't any program, but there are two!

(or do you have to compile the undink one yourself? In which case it isn't suitable for newbies...)
