Editing hardiness
I want to add exact hardiness (so you could walk smoothly by a wall instead of having "bumps" in it) into walls, such as in the Cycles of Evil, but I don't know how to. I just could make a huge extra-enormous-sized huge bump. Tell me something please.

SimonsK tutorial explains hardness doin pretty good i advise you look at it.

My Dimk.Ini Rewrite 3.0 has walls with improved hardness. Check it out for insrructions on how to use them.
I believe Vukodlak is speaking of the building walls (i.e. houses). The "Dimk.ini" file only creates rectangular hardness for sprites, and smooth hardness requires the use of hard tiles.
The "Dimk.ini" file
Yeah, the Dimk.ini file sucks. I recommend using Dink.ini instead.
I agree that rectangular hardness is a bit annoying at times, though. Maybe a source project could change this one day...
EDIT : There's usually a way around this problem, though.

Errrr... The video tutorial taught me nothing. Sadly, I'm from Finland, I can easily understand text but speech...
I couldn't understand what Simon said. So what do I have to do to go to the "hardness tile selection" at 5:32 of the time.

If you're too lazy to edit hardness, or you don't know how, you can try this. Or, I can explain you how to do it, in WinDinkEdit:
Press "H". Select a square where you want to edit the hardness. Press "E". Select a hardbox from the list. You can open other maps, and see what hardboxes were used for different parts of the building.
Anothere way is to create some invisible objects, and give them hardness.

E! That's the letter I have to enter, thank you... hope it works.
Use your mouse. Page Down key will also find you more tiles.
