paint shop pro 7
does any one know how to make shadows using paint shop pro 7
Black pixel, white pixel, black pixel, white pixel... repeat until the shadow is filled.
Really, though, there isn't any technique beyond that for making a shadow using just Paint Shop Pro 7.

as far as making the shaddow, i forget the steps, but there is a file on the dn that could help you, and as for the black/white/black/white pattern, you can go to paint, switch to black and white, and one of the color tabs will be that pattern...
Yeah, I think Simple Graphics has a tutorial that shows you how to make pretty cool looking shadows with just MSPaint.

Hi Rankin,
Nobody has replied for a few days so,
take another look at the post by
Redink1 - Nov 25. My first skill is in music and I am okay in Programming but terrible at graphics.
Using MSpaint I just spent 8 minutes and drew a 3-d cube with a shadow that looks ok.
I made a copy of the cube,
Used stretch/skew to reduce the size by 50%,
Switched from colors to black&white,
Filled with the pattern in the pallette,
used the mouse to fix the border,
then pasted this back into the original.
I know a cube is a simple graphic and it doesn't help you use some major graphics software to do the tedious for you, but it will get the job done.
My first computers were commodores so all graphics where coded pixel by pixel, and remeber I am &crap at drawing.
You could always look in the Layers/Dropshadow tool in imageready to see how that works.

My experience hovers in regions 3,4, and 5 of the OSI model. I am now discovering the entertainment value the application layer.
Er, that means I have little Idea what the Avatar here signifies, but it should be a dead dink on gold now.
Is there a list somewhere that would help me select an appropriate pic? I'm hesitant to ask for suggestions. (bites nails nervously)

You can't. Well, not directly. If you create a new creature, person or other being and use it in a D-Mod (or perhaps also in a graphics pack), then redink1 can add it for you here.
SO I CAN JUST SUBMIT A GRAPIC TO TDN JUST SO I CAN HAVE IT TO BE MY AVATAR
Is it going to be a picture of Caps Lock?

There is a nice trick. Try this:
First press Caps Lock (to put it on) and then press shift while you type, this will make the letters double capitals!

He just wanted you to stop typing all caps. Using a double caps-trick will result in the first one undoing the second one.
By the way, it's 'liar'. And please try to put in more punctuation, which are .,!?':" etcetera. Good posts result in good answers.

Nope, it's in the rules: Try to refrain from ALL CAPS.
BUT OF COURSE THERE HAS TO BE AN EXCEPTION
TO BAD CAPS DOESNT SHOW UP ANY MORE
