Updated Dev File: Treasury 1.1
DraconicDink has updated his Treasury to v1.1. I assume that some changes have been made to the file, but there wasn't a changelog, so you'll just have to guess.
The changes are the Version History of the Readme. Well anyweay, I am currently ar work on v1.2, which definetly has a Changes.log file and because I no longer have the display problems with Dink I am making a test dmod for it, which is the main difference.
Anyway here are the changes:
- Altered a few scripts.
- Added new comments to the scripts so that they are more useful to newbie dmod authors.
- Removed small gold heart scripts, as I couldn't find a way to fix the shadow corruption that occurs when the gold heart graphic is shrunk.
- Included a Dink.ini file with the potion graphics.
- Replaced old green potion with the one from Pilgrims Quest.
- Removed the the Supreme Power and Super Power Potions as they were overpowered and as such unbalanced.
- Renamed the pPower Potion to Mega Potion.
- Renamed and editd the Large Gold Heart scripts to reflect the fact that there is no Small Gold Hearts anymore.
- Added a Credits section to the Readme file.
- Added Installation and Uninstallation sections to the Readme file.
- Added a Future of Treasury section to the Readme file.
- A few minor adaptions to the Readme file.
- Removed the test dmod since it was incorrectly named and I couldn't fix it due to computer errors.

Could those that reviewed v1.0 update their reviews for version this new version.
And then update their reviews again when you release version1.2?? I think it would be better to wait until you release a final version.
Ummm while I may have started work on it 1.2 will still be quite a time off since I have other projects I am working on. Getting a few chapters and a prologue for my book is of a higher priority. Also I want to hold off the release of it until 1.1 is reviewed so that I can know what to change/add in 1.2. My book will take most of my time meaning that 1.2 may not be ready until late next month. It doesn't help that I am also working on 2.1 of Dink.Ini Rewrite, which will gbe even further off. I am also working on a totally new file, meaning that there is little time for treasury 1.2, therefore it's a long way off. I am also trying to learn C right now.
But that still does not justify having to review a file 3 times eventually.
Well, if they don't want to, they certainly don't have to. You can still tell whether a review's relevant to the current version or not by looking at the date submitted.
Indeed. I do not try to force anyone to review it or pretend that I can or have any right to, since I can't and don't. I only ask people to review it so that I can improve it.
But exactly that. You don't ASK. "Could those that reviewed v1.0 update their reviews for version this new version." A question mark at the end of that would have indicated you asking reviewers to do so, so don't get all defensive on me. Now stop chatting and get working!
"I only ask people to do so."
"But you have to do it with a question mark!"

Indeed. I simply forgot the question mark... also i was not telling people to do it... therefore it was asking... and questions are not the only form of asking... there are also requests... which is what that was. A request does not need a question mark.
Also i've decided to delay I've decided to delay the updates to Treasury and Dink.Ini Rewrite so I concentrate on my book. So they are some time off. I will however work on a couple of new projects I have planned. They will be slow in coming though, sepite their small size and ease due to my concentrating on my book.

...says the boy named Kikki, who used to be known as emotion.
They've already gathered that, but good try.
Ah, so then the irony doesn't escape them. That's good

Am I the only one who finds this funny?

Because they're all updates to the readme file rather than the game.
Umm so it's a set of scripts not a game... and the Readme file is a part of the set...
lol. that is pretty funny, I would notice that too, but I was too lazy to read through the whole "New changed" list
It's like you said; a set of scripts and then the Readme is not part of that set because it's not a script The readme file just lists the installation and information of a package/file and also a list of changes compared to the previous version of that package/file, not to the previous readme
Readme this
Readme that
Why do you argue over
something as stupid as...that?
Sorry got the Riddler on the brain...I am just lucky "that" rhymes with "that" oh well...

Umm didn't you notice that we dropped the quite a while ago?
He IS still allowed to comment you know
But reviving old threads isn't always appreciated when it's not necessary
Well it's still the front news post, so as old as it is I'm sure it's still visited
I know he's allowed to, but there's no point in commenting on a long dead argument.
