How is warcraft controlled? Is it another of these "memorize keyboard" thingies?

You can do everything using the mouse.
Some things are a bit faster if you use the keyboard though... pressing the A hotkey (for Attack) is usually faster than moving the mouse over to the little Attack icon and clicking on it.
