DAMIT THE THING WONT WORK
well yesterday i downloaded soldat from www.soldat.pl and finaly after installing it and seting up the server i find out that the dam 3d card that im using (witch is the main problem that my computer has)doesnt suport it, i know its a relativly new game and that using a trident card with 4mb on it wont suport alot and i usualy use software enulated programs that will alow me to run alot more than i actually can its just seems that i cant get away without upgrading any more but whos folt is it really is it mine or is it the fact that running a pentiumII mmx 233Mhz with 64mb of ram a trident 3d card with 4mb of vidio ram and a broken vid out port and an ADSL modem at 512 is enough for what i do but soon enough i will have to upgrade and that time i will hate because i will have to buy a computer that is top of the line and will probably cost about $12 000 dallars and i dont have that sort of money to throw at a machine that i wont use that much any way well mabye i should just a $30 dallar voodo card with 12mb on it and that will solve that but what i find wierd is that when i first had the computer it was the best of the best well it is funny how times change

If that was the best of the best, your computer is years and years old and needs upgrading anyway if you want to play a game released anywhere near recently

I am guessing his computer is about 10 years old. Since I have had way better computers 6 years ago. My current computer is light years away. Oh and you can get a decent computer for like 800 dollars not 12000.
I got a really good one for 1,133$, it is a Pentium 4 processer, and it has 1 gig of RAM, 160 gigs of hard drive space, and 2.8 gigahertz of speed. 
So... how am I reaching this page?
EDIT: For 12,000$, you can get a UB3R L337 super-fast computer with like... 4GB RAM and stuff. Don't think you'd really want that much, but...

I have a new computer. His name is Graphtor. I got him for $2300. He has lots of cool numbers in his description. The only one I can remember is 60GB, dunno what it's attatched to. Yay.
He also has two hard drives. One is empty. Can't figure that one out...Maybe it's my backup hard drive.

My comp (paid for by me so I know) cost 800$(hehe) came with everything you could need for everyday use such as I use it for, printer and all... Maybe I just got lucky, not haveing to pay 12,000$ and all but oh well

well i got my new one 2 days ago and ive already started programing on it iam making a new import for half life 2 and iam runing 580 (over clocked) mb of video ram and 8.12 cpu (also over clocked) 2 gig of ram and 260 gigs of hard disk no screen but a projecter and an away server for backing up my files( the projecter cost the most but i got it for free off the computer techs so the computer only cost about 5grand and i dont think the new one will last long cuz its runing within an inch of its life but there is always a warranty)
You overclock and rely on the warranty?
There is no such thing as 'luck' in the computer world, there is 'work', or 'wont work'... HEY! Maybe the computers have been watching human laziness and copying it! Thats why they don't work most of the time!
I am a lucky one. The only thing I've paid for with my two computers is a Triniton screen black, a keyboard and a mouse all for the little amount of € 80 incl. taxes. The rest of the two computers I did get all for free. I don't have to pay for it. When I want to upgrade the PC's I don't have to pay.

First off I am not sure if you are joking or not but thre is no such thing as a vid card with 580 mb of vid ram. Its also not possible to overclock the amount of memory you have. Secondly its impossible to overclock to 8.12 ghz cpu. I assume you mean 8.12 ghz since all cpu's are measured in ghz. Other then that paying 5 grand for all that is a major rip off.

I can get best cpu around for 600 dollars.
Best vid card 400 dollars.
Best Motherboard 200 dollars.
Best Harddrive for like 300 dollars.
projector monitor and other stuff about 1500 dollars.
away server 400 - 500 dollars
Grand total 3600 dollars.
